In my circumstance (and Doug?s, I imagine), I would like to use the same lens for both my DMR and S (006). Having an adapter, which works (with limitations) on the S, is a huge boon, as the 180/2 and 280/4 are two of my favourite lenses - virtually irreplaceable.
