They also have longer warranty, and sometimes but rarely they have different body design or colors or covering. In other words, in most cases, the functions of the cameras are the same. Unless one is a diehard Leica fan, it is usually difficult to justify the added cost, but if it's a question of "WANT" rather than "need," then one can always justify in buying a Leica.
