??  Look at the position of her arms--she'd had to be an orangutan to get
the arm back in the coat.  Additionally, you'd see a big bulge right over
the shutter button.  If you look at the position of the camera, a
resulting picture would have had a very different bias to the image.

I have another theory: she shot this with her Rolleiflex, using the
self-timer.  The square format (and high quality) makes me suspect that's
the answer.

Jim, I think she took it.  I think her arm was inside the coat, and her
finger was on the button.  If you look closely, the fabric next to the
camera is bulged there.
