Second choice: halve the size of the photosites on the M and the MM sensors (for 96 and 72 Mpx, respectively) to achieve image resolution in line with the inherent resolution of the lens (esp the apo-Summicron). When the need for minimal-noise low-light shooting outweighs the need for maximal resolution, the software can be instructed to "bin" the photosites 2x2 for the same resolution and low noise as the current sensors. -howard On Oct 19, 2014, at 1:07 PM, Frank Filippone <red735i at verizon.net> wrote: > If you could add only 1 feature to your current Leica camera ( no > matter which digital you own), what would you add? > > > > > > Frank Filippone > > Red735i at verizon.net > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
