When you need a quiet shutter, you need the M240. If you want to use R lenses, you need the M240. Since a lot of the photos I take meet those requirements, I tend to use the M240 most; however, the M9 is a fine camera and I like the photos I get from it, sometimes more than the M240 photos, sometimes not.
