Perhaps it?s the filter which provides an elliptical area of adjustable form factor and orientation and which can be set to include what?s covered (how I use it) or to exclude same. Then you can fiddle any and all sliders to modify that area. It?s the equivalent of B&W dodging and burning. Very easy to use. The ?brush? that is supposed to be used for the same purposes is an alternative that I?ve never had any success with.
