I agree with Sony about not using it for editing; however if you do edits, it will synch those edits automatically back to your computer. It also has a great slideshow capability: actually used by many to show portfolios. Finally, if you shoot Raw plus jpeg, the jpeg files can be transferred to your iPad with Apple's card reader...
