Some nice old bottles - it surprises me that you can pick up Macallan 1983
18yo cheaper at auction than the current stuff at The Whisky Exchange!
Anyway some nice old Ardbeg/Lagavulin available - they will have
considerably more peat than the more diluted stuff we put up with nowadays,
in these days of the increasing triumph of marketing over quality. Single
Malts from Japan/India/Taiwan etc. seem to offer far more bang for the buck
nowadays.
