A rare Honey Bee, now beginning to show up more frequently, favors the Goldenrod. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Honey+Bee+on+Goldenrod.TIFF.html Most of the Bumble Bees have been replaced locally by Carpenter Bees, who, in spite of their frequent damage to vulnerable woodwork, are great pollinators. This one was wrapped around a small cluster on the Buddleia bush. http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Carpenter+Bee+on+Buddleia.TIFF.html Comments and critiques welcomed and appreciated. -- Jim Nichols Tullahoma, TN USA
