The farmer across the way had a half doz, of them and as a kid I was always afraid of them as they always appeared as "monster horses!" cheers, ted -----Original Message----- From: LUG [mailto:lug-bounces+tedgrant=shaw.ca at leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Tina Manley Sent: October-06-16 7:57 AM To: MUGers at yahoogroups.com; Leica Users Group; paw; seephoto; Olympus Camera Discussion Subject: [Leica] IMG: Percherons! PESO: Because of the evacuation of Charleston, my son brought all 9 of the Percherons to our farm in York: http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/164226600 The photo doesn't show how big they are. These are huge horses! Tim had to make two trips to bring them up from Charleston. Hopefully, they can go back home to an undamaged barn in a few days! We were in Michigan when we heard they were bringing the horses. I drove all the way home - 800 miles in about 12 1/2 hours. Quite a trip, but we made it home before dark.
