It was made from 1954 to 1960 in M mount. In 1958 they started making a 35mm Summaron in f 2.8 as a result of new glasses (Laney) in either screw mount of M mount. The same year 1958 the 35mm Summicron came out at f 2. If they make a Summicron now at something other than f2 someone's going to not be pleased. I doubt they will.
