It's hard to believe such a lackadaisical and slapdash approach to customers emanates from an allegedly premium brand. Keep us updated. Certainly, over the eight or so years I've been on this list, the number of problems with digital Leica seem to have escalated, so that it's hard to remain a flag waving, red dotty fanboy when other seemingly more reliable, cheaper, and just as effective cameras are out there. To be pragmatic, I suppose the best approach is to forget about Leica's former aura of analogue reliabilty, face the current realities, assume the usual write off times that apply to modern technologies, and write the camera down to zero over five years at maximum. Painful, but practical.
