Not a lot of major innovation. Quickly.. IF you were to compare it to a M240... It has a logical and non-ambiguous name... M10 24MP (CMOS sensor from the SL, with micro lenses for M lenses), Maestro 2 Processor ( leverages the FW needed for imaging computations) Bigger shooting Buffer Different button layout . ISO dial is in the place of the film rewind crank. ( You DO remember film rewind cranks, don't you?) Slightly larger LCD on back Slightly thinner body ( by about 1/8 of an inch) , which necessitated a lens mount that protrudes from the body Eyepiece magnification raised to 0.73 ( M240 is 0.68).. more accurate focusing possible WIFI ( send your photos to Twitter automatically through your phone!!!, he says, tongue in cheek) 1 oz lighter.. Overall, if you were hoping for a 40-100MP Leica, with ISO range to half a million or more, you will be disappointed. Bob.. no word on long exposure stuff. Good news, my M9 and Monochrom keep chugging along... Frank Filippone Red735i at verizon.net
