That's a wonderful collection of old timers, Alan.  I'm sure each has a 
story to tell.

Your mention of the Konica rang a bell with me.  I was once given what 
was probably a Konica I, found in a Navy sea bag that was left along a 
Mississippi highway back in the 1950s.  The body was badly corroded by 
salt air.  I cleaned it up enough to shoot a few rolls through it, and 
was extremely impressed with the combined viewfinder and rangefinder.

I was shooting a Leica IIIa at the time, and the Konica finder was close 
to what I would have expected from a Leica M, though I have never 
handled an M.
