Subject: [Leica] IMG: Tulip Poplar Bloom with Visitor

They are unusual looking, but a part of the life of the tree, called 
variously the Tulip Poplar, Tupelo Poplar or Tupelo Gum, the state tree 
of Tennessee.  When the settlers first came to this area, there were 
forests of these large trees which provided timber for many of the early 
homes.

Here is a shot from 1 year ago, made with the Olympus E-1, with the 
Kodak CCD sensor, and the Leica-R 60 Macro lens.  With only 5MP, it 
still provided wonderful colors.
