Subject: [Leica] IMG: this is VERY strange (OT)

Okay, I have seen something I can?t explain. It?s not Leica related, it?s 
Fuji X-T2 related but I think someone here might have an idea of what is 
going on.

I took a photo of a blue sky using a 50mm lens at f16, 200 ISO because I 
wanted to use that to look for dust on the sensor.

I imported the image into Photoshop.

I used Levels to set the light and dark limits to the edges of the histogram.

I then used the Find Edges filter against the image and I got this:

I did NOT expect to see these geometric figures.

Is this something related to the way Adobe handles the XTRANS sensor? Or 
something else?

I?d be interested if the tech wizards out there might have an idea of what 
is going on.
