Car headlights are small and distinct instead of a huge bloom of light. Less contrast with the cataracts, yes. And an overall yellow cast. All of that seems to be much better in my left eye with the new lens. Distance vision is much better - I can see the leaves on the trees! I'm supposed to wait several months for the eye to settle down before deciding whether I need glasses or not but I can already see a big difference. Next step will be to re- calibrate my monitor.
