They had naturalists talking about the Monarch?s life-cycle and they were tagging and releasing monarchs so they could be tracked on their journey south to Mexico. They also gave away free milkweed plants for people who wanted to attract the insects to their gardens. I got some awesome photos of the butterflies; you?d have loved to be there! -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Like My Work on Facebook On 9/10/17, 6:00 PM, "LUG on behalf of Jim Nichols" <lug-bounces+chris=chriscrawfordphoto.com at leica-users.org on behalf of jhnichols at lighttube.net> wrote: >I had two Monarchs visiting today, so I stalked them for proper poses. > >Monarch 1: > >http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/20170910-DSCF4977.JPG.html > >Monarch 2: > >http://www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/20170910-DSCF5010.JPG.html > >I posted these a little larger, and yes, Ted, they might be printable. > >Comments and critiques welcomed and appreciated. > >-- >Jim Nichols >Tullahoma, TN USA > > >_______________________________________________ >Leica Users Group. >See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
