I?d suggest fast wide angle lenses. Depending on where you will be, I?d suggest having a really wide one. Even a fisheye. With the cold temperature, the battery capacity is reduced. Have more batteries than you think you may need. And keep the spare warm in your inside pocket. A tripod is certainly a necessity, as well. I don?t know about SL, but a way to trip the shutter without touching the camera is also necessary. A spare body, too. SL for video and M for stills, perhaps. The lights can move across the sky quickly. It?s never static. And always have room for some akevitt. Sk?l!
