Down in the Houston downtown area I took a few walks mostly trying to find a mural that I could see from my hotel room. In any case you can find things if you assume a Ken Kesey approach: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/City+life+for+a+tree.jpg.html For a very urban environment Houston retains a lot of trees: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/Live+oak+near+the+Chevron+building.jpg.html Sam Houston park abuts Buffalo Bayou(a creek when it hasn't been raining) and is in the middle of downtown Houston more or less. I rather liked the shadow of the unseen live oak: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/live+oak+shadow+Sam+Houston+Park.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
