They did a really nice job. They replaced both my dried-out shutter curtains thathad holes with brand new curtains that they make themselves. The material they use appears to be identical to the curtains in my M-4P). They also replaced my faded beamsplitter a brand new one that they have had fabricated. The camera used to wheez at speeds below 1/100 and now it makes nice clean snaps! Focusing is crisp and sharp. The charged $175 and did the work in about seven working days. They sent me a post card first with an estimate to confirm before proceeding with the work. Cudabac Cameras 953 Mission Street Rm. 10-B San Francisco, CA 94103 415-777-1862 After attending the local Mega-Photo-Swap (blur!) in San Jose I picked up a solid scew mount 50mm 1.9 Canon Serenar very cheap ($45) But, alas, not cheap enough as I found large black paint flakes in it. The test roll came out ok, But I'd like to dissassemble the lens to remove the paint chips between some of the elements (they appeared after cleaning around the aperture ring with a minute amount of alcohol - oops). Does anyone know where one might find a proper spanner wrench for this delicate operation? Thanks, Mark Eastman meastman@adobe.com
