The Olympus XA takes fine pictures if you stop the lens down to 
f/5.6 or smaller.  Most pictures aren't shot wide open anyhow.
I think most people who gripe about it aren't people who have
noticed fuzzy pictures but who have read test reports.  The same
goes for a lot of other cameras that don't have the finest specs.
