New or used?  B&H is a good place for new, and very reliable and honest.  
Be very careful in NYC.  There are some dishonest people there.  I 
haven't had trouble with Cambridge, so I'm not directing this at them.

I've liked Fuji Velvia for leaves, but others may want more subdued tones.
