Well, the long and the short is that anyone who wishes to invest in any of
several dozen Leica reference guides knows, as Leitz began releasing this
information prior to World War II and continued until Wild was bought out by
Cambridge PLC in the late 1980's.  

There are inaccuracies and omissions from these tables, but they are
relatively accurate -- and a lot better than the sort of speculation which
Zeiss Ikon owners must endure!  The equivalent F&H Rollei data is, I
believe, maintained at Club Rollei on the island of Jersey and so that is
also available as well.
