Actually, taking an M or screw mount body is better from a safety standpint
than an R body. The rangefinders look old and don't attract much attention.
I don't hesitate to take my IIIg body ($2200) and my 28 Summaron w/finder
($2000) out on the street. No one gives it a second notice.
