A dealer (maybe more, but I'm only familiar with one) here in the U.S.,
acquired a handful of Leica's called "Action Leader" and offered them for sale.

Apparently, they are a black M6 with different looking engraving and a map
of Germany engraved on the top. He claims they are a very limited
production, but has no information on actual numbers manufactured or other
details like what it commemorates or who commissioned it, etc.

It is apparently not being officially sold in the U.S. and is offered with
the German 1 year warranty instead of the U.S. 3 year Passport Warranty. It
is priced only $50 or so above the normal M6. Any one know anything about this?
