        Are you sure that the camera is as late as you suspect? Check the
serial number; the camera might be a "C" rather than an "E".  With the lens
off the camera check and see if there is a small "o" on the rear of the lens
flange.  Possible the lens is not set for the standar back focus of 28.8mm.
