Not that this has a direct bearing, but a cinematographer in hollywood (who
uses such lense as - can't remember exact numbers but something like this -
100-500 f/2.8 lenses (weigh like trucks!) 28-250 f/2 - yes, f/2 - and other
astoundingly expensive lenses for special cinematography) said Angineaux has
a mediocre reputation in the film world. I find that quite interesting,
because their still lenses are very nice.
