Hey, LUGers!

I'm one of the most pronounced techno-freaks on the LUG, and I find
discussions of PHOTOGRAPHS themselves rather boring -- I shoot what I like,
do my own processing, and either like or dislike what I get. That's my
business: I'm not interested in dissecting 'photography as fine art'.

But I agree that this list ought to include this aspect of Leica use, as it
cheerfully accomodates discussions of the Mini-Lux alongside discussion of
Retro-Modernism or whatever (gag) art-form is on top at the nonce. I get
involved when we get onto 'how do you adapt an APDOO to an M6?' type of
question -- but I'm glad the group is big and tolerant enough to include the
all of us. It would be lonely if only Roger and I were left!

Let's all do our own thing and read the messages on the LUG which we wish to
read. No reason to get restrictive about any of this -- photography is a
BIG subject and Leica is, after all, a BIG part of photography!
