Well--OK--but postmodernists  are fatally inconsistent if they try to claim
that any moral conclusion relevant to action follows from their view,
because they have no right to say "all texts are subject to infinite
interpretations, except this one"--they have to include their own theory in
their view (parallel: the problem with "all statements are false").  Most
postmodernists appear to be leftists of some sort, but don't forget Paul de
Man, who turned out after his death to have been a fascist in WWII--and who
could have said, given his views, that any set of actions was OK, just a "text."

So what do we all think of Leitz's role in WWII?  :-)
