Subject: Post delay

Anyone have any idea how long the delay is between the time we post
something and when it gets distributed to the list? I often wonder if the
person who wrote a post is sitting at their machine when I receive it. It
makes one stop and think about the method by which we communicate. It's
really very strange.

Just a thought.
