Subject: Leitz Telvid Scope

Dear List,

I just bought a new Leitz Televid spotting scope with the 20mm wide angle
eyepiece.  I gave up after a year of trying to find the Apo-Televid model.
It just didn't surface anywhere I was looking.  The scope is much better
than the Nikon ED scope and is waterproof for unrestricted outdoor use.  I
had the chance to see this scope last Summer at Leitz in Solms and was
impressed at that time as well.

I wonder whether anyone else has had difficulty finding the Apo model in the
U.S or abroad?
