Regardless of what the language reads, it would be discriminatory to exclude
someone because of what they do for a living. That would be the same as
excluding Van Stelton because he earns his living repairing Leicas. I for
one would welcome any legitimate person to be a member of the LUG - someone
knowledgable such as a dealer would be a nice addition to discussions of
current market pricing, warranties, OTHER dealer's reputations, etc. The
line should be clear though regarding using the LUG as an advertisement forum.

It is not unusual for a user to post an item or two for sale here on the
LUG. I have sold a couple of things here to other LUG members myself. I have
always felt this to be acceptable and one of the many benefits of knowing
other Leica users.
