Sorry I didn't clear up my name, I'm Jennifer, married to John.

Does your Bronica have a hot shoe (does it need a flash cord in
> order to trigger the flash)? Does the Leica have what apears to be an
> electrical contact in the center of the shoe that the flash slides into?

The Bronica does not have a hot shoe, apparently it was on a separate
mount that is no longer around. The Leica seems to have the electrical
contact in the center of the shoe. My flash only has the little plug
thing, not a way to slide it into the shoe. That connection (plug) is
on the back of the camera near the viewfinder.

I responded with my serial number info, but didn't give it a good
subject, it just says Re:I'm new to this.

Thanks for your encouragement!! Jennifer
