I'm very interested in the G2, but everyone I've ever spoken to who's used
the G1 has complained of poor AF accuracy, have you had better
experiences?

I confess to something of a Damascene conversion on the subject of AF
having spent some time with a Nikon F5. I wouldn't use it all the time
(I'll keep the F3HPs and trade the F2 for an F5 when I can afford it), and
the mechanical construction of the AF Nikkors is not nearly as good as
their MF predecessors, but I think they've cracked it.
