Greg, you've been pretty nice about sharing your info so here's a trick I use with the Agfa concentrates to keep them from oxidizing. I have been using the Rodinal and Neutol (paper) developers for awhile and this will stretch the shelf life a bit. As you use the concentrate add clean glass marbles to the bottle to take up space and eliminate air. A bag of marbles can be had for a buck. At $12/bottle for Rodinal it's a cheap solution. Also, I've begun using a glass pipette to measure out the concentrate. This is the most accurate way to dispense concentrate. I bot mine at the university chemistry department, which BTW is a cheap source for volumetric beakers and other glassware. Also, call your local hospital and ask for the lab - they will save brown glass 1 gal. reagent bottles with plastic tops if you ask nice. Regards, Ben W. Holmes Boulder, CO USA bholmes@frii.com
