Our friend Carl Socolow is actually right : there will be an exhibition of
HCB's picture from March to September, at the European House for
Photographie (rough translation of "Maison Européenne de la Photographie),
in Paris. The title is "Les européens". I have no idea of what this means.
Anyway, I'm sure it will be interesting. There is no that much exhibition
of HCB !

La Maison Européenne de la Photographie is a beautiful place, located in
the heart of a wonderfull area of Paris called "Le Marais". It is an old
"hôtel Particulier". The subway station is "Saint Paul-Le Marais", line #1.
the price is 30FF (~6 US$). The exact adress is "5/7 rue de Fourcy, 75004
Paris".

Also very interesting is the National Center for Photographie (Centre
National de la Photographie), at the "Hôtel Salomon de Rotschild" (another
beautiful hôtel particulier). It's near the "champs-élysées" an the "arc de
Triomphe" (Place de l'Etoile). The price is also 30FF, subway station
"Georges V" (for the famous hotel Georges V, if anyone is very rich, about
4000FF par night), line #1 also. The exact address is "11, rue Beryer,
75008 Paris".

(PS : Leica is much much more expensive than in the US : M6 Body, black is
17500 FF (3200~US$).
