The traditional division of camera formats is five-fold:

LF:  large format (sheet & cut film to 2 1/4" by 3 1/4")
MF:  medium format (120, 616, 620)
VP:  vest-pocked (127)
Miniature:  35mm, 828, 126
Sub-Miniature:  Minox, 110, 14mm
