My experience differs from Hans' on the 85/2 almost completely: this is a sharp, contrasty lens, perhaps a mite more contrasty than the earlier f/1.8. At least that's what my pictures seem to display, and I'll believe my pictures more than anyone else's reports of a test chart. The 85/2 is one of my favorites, that and my 20/3.5. Godfrey
