The Russar is a Topogon design.  That means:  slow, sharp across the field,
absolutely linear, great colour saturation, no vignetting but a quite minor
amount of light fall-off in the extreme four corners of a print (if you
don't crop).

RF coupling on a 20mm lens seems a bit extreme!

At the price, you simply can't beat it.
