The March/April issue of Photo Techniques contains a three page article by
John Loengard on Henri Cartier-Bresson. The article has five photographs
and about 500 words of text. There's an excellent photograph of HCB flying
a kite and one of him with his hand in front of his face which is as much
of a portrait as he would allow. There is also a print of his most recent
photograph: of John Loengard's balding head stooped over the waist-level
finder of his tripod-mounted Nikon. There's no mention of Leica, but from
Loengrad's description HCB is still using his old friend (when he's taking
pictures at all).
