Last week I came across some photos of the same scene taken by 2
different camera systems - Nikon and Leica.

I couldn't tell the sharpness as I was looking at 3R prints. However,
the difference in color and details was indeed very apparent. One look
and you can straight away tell that the picture taken by the Leica was
the winner!

It was an expensive Leica lens and I believe that the optics quality has
to be better. However, I was still not convinced that the difference in
lens quality could be that great. Probably it is due to different
exposure settings and lab printing.
