Guns and Photography

LUGs,

I am quite unhappy about all of the discussion of guns that took place on
this forum. It makes me sad that many of you own guns for the same reason
you own Leicas. 

My reason for being a member of this group was to learn more about Leica
photography. Thanks to many of you, I have learned a lot. However, I am not
interested in hearing any more about guns, particularly AK47s. 

I am not an anti-war activist and, believe me, know more about guns than
most of you.

Recently I bought a book by Robert Hickman Adams entitled White Churches of
the Plains. The images were taken in the 60s. My next project will be to go
to the plains to find a few of these churches. I wish I had more lenses for
my SL2, particularly a PC lens. This type of a project probably would
benefit from viewing the target (sic) on the ground glass. I do have a
90-degree 2x viewer, which I find to be very useful. Recently, I discovered
that this fine piece, which was originally intended for the SL and SL2, had
been made in Japan.

I have to rush now before the sun rises so that I can take a photo of a
church in Jamestown Colorado.
