I attended a wedding last weekend in Dallas and the shooter was using the
M-series.  I just received copies of some shot and they were very high
quality.  He was using the 35mm f2 and a Vivitar 281 flash with a bounce
attachment.  

My recommendation is to shy away from direct flash as it produces harsh
shadows.  A more diffuse light would  produce much nicer results.
