Subject: LEICA 35-70mm F/4, made in Japan ?

To the Leica Users Group,

Lasts week I visit some photo shops in NY and asked for the new 35-70 F/4,
the lens was not available but  what I found  interesting was that they told
that the lens is made in Japan..... Any comments ??
