The Leica Historical Society of America began life as the Leica Collectors'
Club; its primary bent has always been towards collectors. But there are
a LOT of users in the membership, as well. LHSA has about 2200 members and
is, frankly, the only association dedicated to the mark in this country.
(There is a smaller British and German society, as well, both of which are
extremely fine associations.)

The LHSA journal, VIEWFINDER, is a mix of articles on older Leica items,
new Leica gear, and photographs taken with Leica equipment. Nice
publication, especially now that Dr Hooper is back in the saddle.
