Well, the '84 Audi replaced '57 and '61 Beetles ... and I still have the
'67 Alpine.  I HAVE owned two new cars in my life, but never again:  both
were superb vehicles, but I detested that feeling of one-third of the value
fluttering away as I drove off of the dealer's lot.

That's why I like Leica so much:  a month after you've bought it, it's
doubled in value.
