Sekonic makes the L-308B, which is tiny (literally pocket-sized), accurate,
and offers not only incident and reflected modes thanks to a sliding
diffuser dome, but also flash metering, if you care. I used it for several
years in conjunction with an M4 and was very satisfied. It runs on one AA
battery, approximately forever in my experience, and can be set to display
either in f-stops and tenths (!) thereof, or in EV. Operation is very
simple and intuitive one you get used to it. Available new from the usual
sources.
