Does anyone know anything about a 1.5 times teleconverter for Leica M's? I
vaugely remember reading about one many uers ago. It would convert a 50mm
lens to 75mm and a 90mm lens to 135mm, allowing the built in finders to be
used.

For me, one of the primary appeals of the Leica M system is the ability to
have a small compact outfit for travelling. With the rumoured
28mm/35mm/50mm trifocal lens, a 90mm lens, a 1.5 times teleconverter, and a
Leica M6 (or M4P), one would have a compact outfit which with all the focal
lengths available in the finder.
