Any know problems with M-6 batteries? By the way, the meter was right while the
batteries were working>>>>>

William,

A couple of things;

I see most have posted the "set to B" before putting camera in case.

1: It is recommended by Leica to simply turn the shutter speed dial to "B"
before putting camera in either the "never ready case".or in your camera
equipment bag. Stops battery drain immediately.

2: By setting the shutter dial to "B" also is a plus, as it takes tensions
off the timing mechanism springs etc. allowing them to function accurately
for a much longer time.

When you start doing this, you will undoubty forget that the camera is set in
this fashion on a quick grab and shoot situation, however it only takes a few
imes of taking the camera out of the bag and your hands automatically turn the
dial towards an acceptable shutter speed. Allowing for fine tuning the exposure
through the viewfinder and bright red arrowheads.

Take it from someone who uses 3 M6's on a regular basis of working for a living.
Well it isn't work it's fun ! :)

Work is something you do when moving concrete blocks! :)
